H 7.30 - 8 - If you are coming from Paris, take the train to Chartres, a journey of about 1.15 hours. The train station is conveniently located, just a short walk to the city center and the cathedral.


H 9 - Take a brief stroll through the charming streets of Chartres, which will introduce you to the town's medieval charm and local atmosphere.


H 9.30 - As you approach the cathedral, take a moment to stand in front of this majestic building. The towering spires, intricate façade, and the sheer scale of the cathedral will leave a lasting impression. It’s a good idea to first admire the exterior before entering.


As you enter, take a few moments to let your eyes adjust to the dim, cool interior, a space designed to draw the gaze upward toward the sky. The soft light filtering through the famous stained-glass windows will create a serene atmosphere. Spend some time absorbing the spiritual energy of the cathedral.
